UNDER PRESSURE: How To Help Your Dog THRIVE In Any Dog Sport Environment – The Class!

Join Bobbie Bhambree CBDC, CPDT-KA and Dr. Kathy Murphy for a HYBRID class exploring PRESSURE in dog sports and how to help your dog thrive even in challenging environments:

  • How to define and understand pressure in dog training and dog sports

  • How to recognize different types of pressure

  • How pressure affects your dog and your dog’s performance

  • How to recognize the fallout from too much pressure

  • How to teach the dog to enter any environment and produce behaviors exactly as they can in home

  • How to prevent issues

  • How to fix issues

  • Explore ways to problem-solve

  • How to properly use pressure to HELP the dog

  • And MORE!

Throughout the 6 weeks of content, we will discuss the science and practical applications (games!) to support your dog in the “under pressure” dog sports environment.

Working students AND auditing students are invited to participate in the weekly Zoom discussions (see below of dates) as we reflect on what has been going on, prepare for what is ahead, and answer questions!

Zoom sessions will include a slideshow and videos to demonstrate concepts and games. Bobbie and Kathy will lead discussions in the application of these games and how they impact the dog’s neurobiology, supporting sustainable behavior change.
